“You carry Mother Earth within you. She is not outside of you. Mother Earth is not just your environment. In that insight of inter-being, it is possible to have real communication with the Earth, which is the highest form of prayer.”

-Thich Nhat Hanh

"Compassion, in which all ethics must take root, can only attain its full breadth and depth if it embraces all living creatures and does not limit itself to mankind."
- Albert Schweitzer

Integration in relation to psychedelics can be understood as the process one continuously undertakes to bolster the insights they gained from the experience and live from that place of new knowledge or understanding. Integration is the process of incorporating previously disconnected pieces into one larger piece.

I assist individuals who have had a psychedelic experience and whom are looking
to ground and integrate that experience into their day to day life.

Psychedelic integration can be understood as the process one continuously undertakes to bolster the insights one gained from an experience and live from that place of new knowledge, insight, and understanding. Through this process, individuals are supported and guided to uncover new perspectives and meaning post-transformative experience. This service is also open to those who are preparing for a psychedelic experience, utilizing a harm reduction approach, individuals are given the support and education needed to enhance their experience. My orientation and approach is based in depth and transpersonal psychology, bringing in mindfulness and mind-body practices when appropriate. In working together, integration becomes a practice in compassion, growth, and strength. I believe that integrating our psychedelic experiences is in service to both the individual and the collective, and that through the process we can find great curiosity, joy, purpose, and meaning.

I received my M.A. in Psychology with a Mind-Body Concentration from Columbia University's Spirituality Mind Body Institute, am a 200 hour certified yoga teacher and meditation teacher, and am currently pursuing my doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute. I worked closely with Dr. Ingmar Gorman, the director of the Psychedelic Education and Continuing Care Program in NYC as program assistant promoting education, trainings, workshops, continuing care programs, and other services. During this time I was able to assist in, attend, and complete the Psychedelic 101 and 102 trainings led by Dr. Gorman and Dr. Elizabeth Nielson. Additionally, I worked in Costa Rica at Rythmia Life Advancement Center, a medically licensed facility offering plant medicine ceremonies. At Rythmia I assisted Chief Medical Officer Dr. Jeff McNairy with client medical intakes and assessments, provided personal counseling and integration tools to clients facing psychological and emotional challenges, assisted facilitators during plant medicine ceremonies, led yoga and meditation classes, and facilitated and led four courses developed by Rythmia to support clients over the course of their stay. All of my personal and professional experiences over the last 12 years have had an active role in developing my compassionate and person-centered approach to coaching and mentorship. My hope is that you receive the support, the tools, and the inspiration you deserve.

"We often forget that we are nature. Nature is not something separate from us. So when we say that we have lost our connection to nature, we have lost our connection to ourselves.'' -Andy Goldsworthy

Integration services allow client to further explore their psychedelic experience with individualized support and guidance. Individuals uncover new insights and meaning post-psychedelic experience. This is not therapy, it is mentoring and support that inspires a bolstering of you experience.

Preparation services provides client with the education, information, and thought prompts necessary for a safe, effective, and transformative experience. The proper preparation ensures that a client can go into an experience with the mindset and tools to enhance the experience.

"Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better." -Albert Einstein

“Some people have a unique ability to help others see deep truths hidden in plain sight. Sophie is one of those people. Not only does she guide her clients with wisdom, but she does so with uncommon grace and kindness. Without a doubt, her life and work will continue to impact the world in unique and wonderful ways.” - Kevin Kaiser

"I came to meet Sophie after a slow ten year long insidious slide into what was diagnosed as Treatment Resistant Depression. I felt as if I was trapped in a prison cell of my own mind, that all the doctors, counselors and modern pharmaceuticals couldn’t rescue me from. I could only see the negative and ugliness in everything. I slept a lot and often thought if I was killed in a car accident on the way home it wouldn’t be so bad. My family would’ve been taken care of; I had life insurance after all. Desperation and a chance interaction on a train to Santa Barbara led me to contacting her and that chance has and still is having a profound impact on my life. I think I had forgotten how, but I laugh more now. I see my demons for what they are; not me. I see the beauty in things that I have missed for so long. I can see now that I am part something bigger and not the trivial thoughts that churned over and over in my head. Sophie helped reset my compass. For that I am eternally grateful." - Andrew Morris

"Sophie is a warm, calm presence with wisdom beyond her years. During my sessions with her I felt safe to be real and myself. I hope to do integration work with her in the future, I believe she can help me on my path of healing." - Lauren Richards

"Working with Sophie was an amazing experience. I have used psychedelics in the past but was looking for a more spiritual experience rather than a recreational one. Along my journey, I had the opportunity to go to an upcoming Ayahuasca retreat. Wanting to make sure that I was as mentally and spiritually prepared as possible, I looked up a practitioner to work with from the MAPS (Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies) website. That is where I came across Sophie. She was extremely easy to work with and helped me prepare for my experience for many weeks beforehand. Any anxiety that myself or my family had around me attending the retreat had been alleviated by working with Sophie on the front end. As a result, I had gone into my experience with Ayahuasca with clear intentions and confidence and had a life changing experience. She is extremely knowledgeable and very understanding. I would recommend that anyone who is looking to explore a psychedelic journey work with her. I am very grateful to have gotten to work with her and will likely be working with her more in the future." - Erin Stevenson
